Geographic Information Systems

A Geographic Information System (GIS) is a system designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage and present different types of spatial or geographic data.

Departments and services utilizing GIS include Public Works, City Planners, Emergency Services, Neighborhood & Tourism, Economic Development and the Public at large.

Mission Statement

Cedar Hill GIS strives to bring geospatial data capabilities to all Cedar Hill customers. To this end, Cedar Hill GIS provides data, analysis, applications, exhibits, or other service for geospatial/geographic needs.

Online Maps

We are in the process of updating our online maps for desktop and mobile devices. They will appear in the Online Maps section as they are completed.
