Although we continue to provide city services, City facilities, including the Cedar Hill GovernmentCenter, the Alan E. Sims Recreation Center, the Senior Center, the Tri-City Animal Shelter, and the Zula B Wylie Public Library are closed to the public. All senior programs are cancelled. This includes all trips, transportation, fitness classes, games, dance, and special interest programs.
The Alan E. Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center is closed to the public, and all programs are cancelled. All rentals are canceled, and staff will be contacting patrons individually to cancel reservations.
The Zula B. Wylie Public Library is closed to the public, and all programs and events are cancelled.
Parks and trail are open, but restrooms and playgrounds are closed and water fountains are turned off.
All athletic fields are closed and existing reservations canceled. All league practice and play is cancelled at these facilities.
All Parks pavilions are closed and existing reservations cancelled.
All defendants, jurors, and witnesses set for a hearing or trial from March 16 through March 31 will be rescheduled. Pretrial docket scheduled for March 24 and Jury Trial scheduled for April 9 are cancelled.
Neighborhood meetings or other community group meetings will not be scheduled at either the Cedar Hill Government Center or the Grady Lamb Building. Existing reservations through April 30 will be cancelled.
