Celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Alan E. Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center and see all the many services your community has to offer at the Citywide Neighborhood Block Party. Check out great programs offered at the Recreation Center, connect with organizations throughout your city, and take a tour of the facility. Kids can enjoy bounce houses and playing laser tag. Don’t miss out on all the fun as we celebrate this momentous occasion! This is event is rain or shine.

9 to 10 a.m. -  Cedar Hill Shares Community Walk

Support Cedar Hill Shares and participate in a community walk starting at 9 am at the Red Oak Creek Trail Head (event is a part of the Citywide Neighborhood Block Party and Recreation Center Anniversary). The walk is open to participants of all ages (including strollers) and cost is only $10 per participant (5 and under are free). You may donate 10 non-perishable items in lieu of the $10 registration to participate. Registration can be done online or onsite starting at 8:30 am. All proceeds benefit Cedar Hill Shares. Each participant will receive a t-shirt at the event, and additional donations can be made on site.
